One percent and waning.

Enki’s time draws near.

The mighty god of water.

And one we hold most dear.

 

He’s also god of knowledge,

This was known as gestú.

Plus mischief, crafts and creation.

His city is called Eridu.

 

His constellation is AŠ-IKU

‘Square of Pegasus’, or ‘the Field’.

His sacred number is forty.

A mighty power he does wield.

 

The foundations for his temple.

Are deep in the Abzu.

The waters of the aquifer.

And the deepest shade of blue.

 

With the new moon coming.

The tides are on the rise.

Tomorrow will bring thunder.

His echo in the skies.
