Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve,
Morning and Night.
Don’t let go,
Hold on tight.
Let me take you,
By the hand.
And lead you safely,
Through the land.
Through all the trials,
The pain, the grief.
And all the things,
That bring them relief.
Life is balance,
End of story.
Too much of either,
And no one gets glory.
I taught you enough,
In the Garden due East.
To live long your life,
In pleasure and peace.
But Eve took an apple,
A simple enough deed.
On the advice of a stranger,
But it was more than her need.
