As you’re making some mash.

Cheap and filling,

Chop onions and carrots,

Fry off as well.

Add to the meat,

Savour the smell.


Add water if dry,

If runny add flour,

Then cook on medium,

For a good half hour.


Place in a dish,

With room to spare,

Pile on the mash

We’re almost there!


Shove in the oven,

On number five,

Dish up and serve,

In twenty five.
