You might not notice the tiny workmen setting off to work. Their footprints marking a path this way and that way, to show the way back home.
Under the lamenting Willow, the wool gatherers gather the wool, a mammoth task awaits.
The tiny foreman supervises his men into position, four workmen, one behind the other in a line at each end of the catkin.
“One, two, three, pull!” The workers nearest home pull with all their might.
“Three, two, one, push!” The workers at the other end push with all their strength.
And so it goes, all the way home.
