Kubaba
The Queen of Sumeria.
Walked among her folk.
She didn’t need a bodyguard.
Their love for her
a cloak.
The Queen of Sumeria didn’t intend on becoming queen, it happened quite by accident. She didn’t really have a title, she was known by her given name which was simply Kubaba.
Kubaba entered the bustling market place; wicker basket hanging from the crook of her arm as she weaved in and out of the crowd of happy buyers and sellers. She greeted everyone who caught her eye and they smiled and waved in return.
There was peace in the land.

I suppose the short answer is I have a deep interest in Sumerian culture and I also think things could be very different.

Nice! That’s very interesting choice of interest. He he. I don’t have any idea about Sumerian culture but it must be nice to be fascinated by it. 🙂
